US Central (Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma) Chapter of the JSPS Alumni Association was officially established in 2025.
Purpose of Establishment
Strengthening Member Ties: To foster and strengthen professional and academic ties among Chapter members in the US Central States (Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma) and enhance collaboration and networking.
Promoting Fellowship Opportunities: To raise awareness of JSPS fellowship opportunities among students and faculty at universities in the six-state region and assist in communication with researchers in Japan.
Supporting Chapter Activities: To coordinate and support activities developed by Chapter members, including joint research initiatives, seminars, colloquia, and workshops, that align with the goals and broader mission of the US Canada JSPS Alumni Association.
