As the next stage in the development of the US and Canada JSPS Alumni Association, a Board of Directors was established with the main purposes of authorizing proposals for the Alumni Association submitted by the Secretariat (JSPS Washington Office); and providing the Secretariat with advice regarding alumni activities.
