Ontario Chapter of the JSPS Alumni Association was officially established in 2025.
Purpose of Establishment
•Strengthening Member Ties: To foster and strengthen the professional and academic ties among Chapter members for the purpose of enhancing collaboration and networking within Ontario and neighboring chapters in Canada and USA.
•Promoting Fellowship Opportunities: To promote awareness of the JSPS programs and fellowship opportunities among students, fellows and faculty members at universities in Ontario.
•Supporting Chapter Activities: To coordinate and support activities aligning with goals of US Canada JSPS Alumni Association and broader mission of the Association. These include facilitating knowledge sharing and joint research initiatives such as seminars, workshops and exchanges faculties and trainees between Ontario and Japan
