Encompassing the US states of Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, and Indiana, the OKII Chapter of the JSPS Alumni Association was officially established in 2025. We aim to increase networking among JSPS alumni in the four-state area; to build and broaden collaborations with colleagues in Japan; and to introduce members to various funding opportunities. The Chapter will host periodic meetings to achieve these aims, as well as to discuss other issues related to science and culture in Japan. In addition to JSPS alumni (regular members), the Chapter also welcomes individuals and organizations interested in cultivating and expanding U.S.-Japan partnerships.
