Presentation Options for the MSF: There are two options for Alumni Association members to present their research, a talk or a poster. To sign up, review the information below and submit the provided form. Submission deadline is October 1st, 2015. The withdrawal deadline is October 15th, 2015.
Distinguished Speaker Nomination: Alumni wishing to nominate a distinguished US speaker should submit an Invited Speaker Nomination Form. More detail on the nomination process and the form itself can be downloaded here.
Deadline to nominate a US speaker: July 31st, 2015. Note: Due to budgetary limitations, it is no longer possible to nominate a Japanese speaker. Registration: For regular members the registration deadline has been extended to October 1, 2015 in order to qualify for financial travel support. Note that we have limited travel funds and the status of available travel funds is listed here. For students, all available funds to support student travel and hotel have been claimed. We can no longer support any travel for students. Students may still register and attend the MSF, however they will have to support their own travel finances. Please contact Tim Devarenne for further questions. Step 1: Fill out the Online Registration Form. (Required for all attendees) Step 2: Pay the Registration Fee (using the PayPal button below). All registered participants need to arrange for their own travel as quickly as possible to secure the lowest possible ticket prices. Travel support is available on a need-basis as outlined in the registration form at $100 for up to 30 Alumni Association members in good standing (i.e., dues have been paid). Students receive full travel support (up to a maximum of 10 students). All participants are offered to have their hotel accommodations covered by the JSPS Washington Office, but acceptance of this support is optional; attendees may choose to pay for their hotel expenses if they wish to do so.
